The Living Showroom
The Tobacconist of Santiago is not a shop with a humidor in the back. The entire store, in the heart of Villa Olga, Santiago de los Caballeros, is engineered as one seamless, climate-controlled humidor, wrapped in raw Spanish cedar and held at a constant 70 degrees and 68 percent humidity. You do not walk into a retail space. You step inside the humidor itself.
The Trophy Room
Every cigar on our shelves was hunted, not ordered. Through our documentary series, Cigar Hunting, we travel the Cibao Valley, from the private lounges of Santiago to the restricted factory vaults of Tamboril, gaining access to family reserves and limited allocations that rarely leave the island. What you see unearthed on screen is what hangs on our walls. The store is the trophy room. If it is here, it was found, not stocked.
